Apple sued to vibrate in iPhones

Apple is sued by the US company Immersion because patents would be infringed by the vibration feature in the iPhone and Apple Watch.

Immersion has several patents on technologies around so-called “haptic feedback”, or the use of vibration in electronics. The iPhone 6, 6S and the different variants of the Apple Watch dealing unauthorized use, claiming Immersion.

The company wants compensation from Apple, but in addition, Immersion has also complained to the US International Trade Commission. In this way, the company wants to enforce an import ban on the iPhone and Apple Watch. That would ensure that the devices can no longer be sold in the US because they can not be sent to the country from the factories in China.
